Yesterday, we experienced an exceptional day. On Švermova Street in Trebišov, we ceremoniously opened the new Salvation Army Pastoral Center.
These were wonderful moments full of joy, music, and children's laughter. We have been preparing this space for a long time with a single goal – to become a safe haven for children, families, and anyone looking for hope and acceptance.
Distinguished Visit and Support
The opening was attended by distinguished guests who came to support us in our vision. We are grateful that the ribbon was cut by the National Commander of The Salvation Army.
We were also delighted by the visit of our friends from the Netherlands and a mission team from the USA, who traveled a long way to be there. It is amazing to see how people from different corners of the world can unite for a good cause.
What Awaits Us Next?
With the opening of the building, our work is just beginning. We want to be close to people in the Roma community, help children with education, and bring spiritual support to families. We believe that this place will witness many changed lives.
